Spotlight on the latest advances from Labex IBEID

To mark the beginning of the year, Labex IBEID is publishing a white paper presenting the latest scientific and technological advances resulting from the work carried out within the consortium.

This document summarizes:

• the key results achieved by the partner teams;
• the innovations developed within the framework of the Labex;
• the challenges and future directions of French research on Emerging Infectious Diseases in the coming years.

Beyond the results themselves, this white paper highlights how funding for fundamental research within Labex IBEID contributes to structuring research on Emerging Infectious Diseases, by offering a wide range of funding instruments that are continuously adapted to the needs of scientists within an evolving ecosystem.

By strengthening collaborative networks and fostering the emergence of concrete scientific, technological, and clinical solutions, Labex IBEID accelerates the momentum of national academic research and helps scale it up to the European and international levels.
